General Info
The Karabezi’s name is a combination of “Kariba” and Zambezi”. With her 5 cabins, Karabezi is one of the most intimate of the Zambezi Cruise & Safaris fleet. All cabins have en-suite showers and water closet, except one which has a bathroom across the passage. The room are laid out is in the format of 2 Double bed cabins which can connect to their neighbouring cabins with 2 bunks each. These can also be closed off from the main cabins, as they have their own doors to the public areas – they can thus be used for tour guides. Two twin cabins, with another double cabin with a bathroom opposite.
The boat has a generously proportioned lounge and dining area, offering panoramic views of the landscape beyond, coupled with stylish interiors
The crew have their own cabin and ablutions.
Tender Boats
2 x tenders are supplied with the capacity to carry 20 pax at any given time
Please Note: Tender Boats are for fishing and game drives, distance dependant on fuel available. Clients are permitted to drive the boats IF they produce a valid Skippers Licence, otherwise the boats are strictly crew driven. If you would like to bring your own speedboat to be towed behind the houseboat, one of the houseboat tenders will be left behind, as towing 3 boats causes damage (please bring your own rope for towing and fuel.)
Additional Info
Catering, ice, rod hire, tackle purchase and bait can be organised at an extra cost. All fuels used is for the client’s account and has to be settled on completion of the cruise
