Victoria Falls Safari Suites are located in the grounds of the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge estate just outside the Victoria Falls town and adjacent to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. The Safari Suites are ideal for families, small groups and couples who require extra space, privacy and comfort, with each Safari Suite enjoying a superb vista over un-spoilt bushveld and magnificent African sunsets.
The suites are split level in design, including a spacious lounge with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening out onto a patio overlooking a small waterhole, natural gardens and bushveld, where a variety of wildlife is often seen. The patio is furnished with a table, chairs and a garden umbrella. The Victoria Falls Safari Suites are the only property on the estate offering TVs, with the main lounge having a 46-inch LCD TV with satellite TV and iPod docking station (iPods not supplied). There is a separate adjoining TV lounge with 22-inch LCD monitor for connection to Xbox, Nintendo, Wii, PS3. (NB: Xbox, Nintendo, Wii, PS3 not supplied), and a sofa bed which can sleep one extra person (recommended for a child – 12 years and below).
Guests are welcomed with a personalised check-in and orientation in the comfort of their Safari Suite by the Safari Host, who will also explain the concierge services available. There is a courtesy golf cart transfer service available on request between the Victoria Falls Safari Suites and the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. There is a complimentary beverage station in the lounge of each Safari Suite, which includes a mini bar restocked daily with local beer, soft drinks, house wine and bottled water, a Nespresso machine and a microwave.
Breakfast for Victoria Falls Safari Suites guests is served in the MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant located in the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and there is also an option of a continental breakfast basket delivered to your Safari Suite by prior arrangement with your Safari Host.
There are 6 Safari Suites in total, which consist of:
- 4 x 2-bedroom Safari Suites
- 2 x 3-bedroom Safari Suites
All bedrooms are non-smoking and have 2 three-quarter beds that can be converted to a king size bed. All the beds are extra length. All the Safari Suites have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, telephones, international multi-sockets/charging points, a digital safe and tea/coffee making facilities.
The 2-bedroom Safari Suites have:
- Bedroom 1 – (upstairs) 30m2 Master Gallery Bedroom with walk-in rainfall shower, floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a balcony.
- Bedroom 2 – (downstairs – 21m2) with bath and separate walk-in rainfall shower.
The 3-bedroom Safari Suites have:
- Bedroom 1 – (upstairs) 48m2 Master Gallery Bedroom with walk-in rainfall shower, floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a balcony.
- Bedroom 2 – (downstairs – 21m2) with bath and separate walk-in rainfall shower.
- Bedroom 3 – (downstairs – 21m2) with walk-in rainfall shower.
The Safari Suites are serviced daily, with same day laundry service and Wi-Fi available. Guests have free access to a fitness centre which includes treadmill, stationary bike, rowing machine, free weights and yoga mats. Late departures and early check-ins may be requested at an additional charge, subject to availability and occupancy.
With all of the Victoria Falls Safari Suites being sunset facing, you are guaranteed to have many memorable evenings on your private patio, enjoying some of the most stunning African sunsets, while watching the occasional sightings of wildlife from the comfort of your own Safari Suite with the smoke of the Falls nearby.
