Chamabondo Tented Camp is situated in a very little known about part of the Zambezi National Park, near the world famous Victoria Falls. The Zambezi National Park is located upstream from Victoria Falls, on the Zambezi River. There are two distinctly different sections of this park. The most popular (and well known) section has a lengthy (50km/31mi) river frontage on the Zambezi River, while the other extension of the Zambezi National Park is the Chamabondo Section, which is more remote and away from the river, and this is where you will find Chamabondo Tented Camp.
The camp is only a 35 minute drive from Victoria Falls, so is the perfect location for those wanting to go on a great luxury safari, but don’t have the time to get to Hwange National Park.
Carefully nestled in amongst the trees, great effort has gone into making sure Chamabondo blends in with the surrounding bush. It overlooks a natural vlei and waterhole, which is pumped all year around – ensuring fantastic game viewing. The added bonus is that the waterhole can be seen from all 12 tented rooms.

The main area is set up under a large Bedouin-style stretch tent, which is centrally located in amongst the tented bedrooms. This entertainment area is open-plan with a bar, dining area, deck and comfortable seating area as well. The deck out the front leads to the gorgeous infinity pool on the left, with lovely sun loungers in which to relax and enjoy the view of the wildlife and birds at the waterhole. To the right of the main area is where the Fire Pit is located. This is always hugely popular with guests at sunset.
