Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

When Victoria Falls Safari Lodge was constructed, it was the first tourism construction project in Zimbabwe to use an environmental architect, which is immediately apparent in the location and structure of the buildings themselves.  The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is located a few minutes’ drive (+/- 10 minutes) from Victoria Falls town and outside of the helicopter fly-zone, making it one of the most peaceful lodges in Victoria Falls.

Set on a plateau, which forms a boundary to the Zambezi National Park, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge enjoys expansive views of unspoilt bushveld and spectacular African sunsets. The lodge overlooks a waterhole, located in front of the central building and viewing deck, which is often frequented by elephants, buffalo and kudu. The central area is also where the three-tier swimming pool with paddle pool is located, with its own sun deck overlooking the waterhole.

The lodge offers a 24-hour reception service and has complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the lodge.   A private residents’ lounge is located in the apex of the central building, as well as a TV lounge with international channels.  For those needing to stay connected or do business, there is an Internet lounge which has two computer stations.

There are 72 rooms/suites in total, which consist of:

  • 24 x standard king/twin rooms
  • 42 x waterhole facing king/twin rooms
  • 6 x king waterhole facing suites

NB: There are 5 sets of interleading rooms.

All Lodge Standard Rooms and Lodge Waterhole Facing Rooms have 2 three-quarter beds that can be converted to a king size bed.  All beds are extra length. The 6 Lodge Waterhole Facing Suites all have king size beds.  All rooms are non-smoking, with their own private patio and have a mini-bar (which can be stocked on request for the guest’s account), a digital safe, a telephone, international multi-sockets/charging points, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a hair-dryer, a mosquito net, guest amenities and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities.
