Waterberry Zambezi Lodge is located in Zambia, near Livingstone on part of private concession with a 1km long river frontage and is directly across the river from the Zambezi National Park. The ideal way to get to Waterberry is to fly into Livingstone International Airport, where the lodge will have a driver waiting to collect you. Some might prefer to fly into Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls Airport, where once again transfers can be organised. For self-drive guests, the lodge is located on the Zambezi River, along the stretch between Livingstone and Kazangula Bridge (Botswana).
Waterberry Zambezi Lodge is built right on the banks of the Zambezi River, with beautiful rolling lawns going down to the river, offering gorgeous views of the river from the ground-floor restaurant and the two sun decks and upstairs viewing lounge. The swimming pool is located adjacent to this and has comfortable sun loungers and tables, and is surrounded by rockery gardens, with guests welcome to walk the paths around the private dam. As mentioned before, unlike other lodges, Waterberry is not located in the town of Livingstone itself, but rather a short distance away, so guests have a much more private and personal experience.
The lodge offers 3 different types of accommodation, the all inclusive Waterberry Rooms, the Woodlands en-suite tents or The Farmhouse.

The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is located a little further downstream from the Waterberry rooms and Woodlands Tents, ensuring families or groups that book here have space, comfort and privacy. It is hired on a sole-use basis, with a minimum requirement of 4 guests. The Farmhouse has 3 x en-suite bedrooms plus 1 x 2 roomed suite and sleeps from four up to ten guests and children of all ages are welcome. There is a large living area, swimming pool, a choice of outdoor dining area, Wi-Fi and a fully-equipped kitchen.

The Woodlands
The Woodlands is located, as the name suggests, in “the woodlands” a bit further back from the river in the “bush.” It was originally specifically built for birders, but it proved so popular that the owners have opened it to those “wanting that special wilderness feeling without sacrificing comfort and luxury.” The tents are about a 200m walk from the Waterberry rooms and main entertainment area and Zambezi River, and there are 3 large Meru style en-suite tents, with a central lounge. Each of the tents has a solid wall en-suite bathroom and wardrobe/dressing room to the rear and a private terrace area to the front. The central Woodlands lounge has fans, air conditioning, lounge seating and tables, and there is a butler/groundsman on hand 24/7.
